As pretty as a picture

I was slightly apprehensive about our first art lecture. I have always thought as myself as being 'rubbish' at art. (cue - Dweck!). THis, despite my positive attitude toward being creative in lessons, which I always try to be! But the lecturer was amazing! I loved her positivity!

Our task during the lecture was to experiment with the paints she had put out for us. This would normally be my idea of hell. No direction, nothing.

It took me a long time to get started. I didn't know what I was doing. I began to get much more into it and having a nice time though. It was good that it wasn't the 1st week and we were all very relaxed with each other. That meant that there was no judgement and it felt like a really supportive environment to be in. Definitely something to take forwards into the classroom.
