Rhythm is a dancer

I have really enjoyed reading about teaching music. I would say that I am reasonable at music - I can read music, I can sing, play the piano (ish) so not a bad start.

What I loved about reading Atkinson's chapter was thinking about how many benefits there are to teaching music at primary school. Both on an emotional level, and on an academic level. I loved the clip of the boys singing Stand By Me - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQxHxloG854. What an amazing example of music bring people together!
