Why a blog - haven't you got enough to do?

I know from my previous life that a huge part of teacher training is about reflection. Thinking and writing about the things I read, see, learn and do. I've always fancied writing a blog too. I find the process of writing pretty cathartic and a way of getting out all the stuff which tends to float around in my brain on a daily basis. So I thought why not put the 2 together and create a reflective diary/blog/thing.....

When I got accepted onto the PGCE, one of the first things I did was hunt around to see what life as a trainee teacher was like. I looked for podcasts and blogs and didn't really come up with what I was after. So I'm also hoping this blog will be useful to other people either training to be a teacher or thinking about doing it, especially as a mature student and balancing a family at the same time.

I plan to add in good resources, and teaching ideas too both for my own record and maybe others might like to get some inspiration for their teaching too.
