This is quite a (learning) journey

Today's lecture was mainly about sharing our drafts of our creed and learning journey. Coming back to our values.

I find this values thing really difficult. There is so much I want to be and I feel like I should have so many values! It's so hard to choose just one core value.

I have settled on love. But I am slightly at odds with it right now as it feels a bit cheesy. That said, everything I have written in my creed, I whole-heartedly mean and they do all come back to love. So maybe I am onto something. Or maybe it will evolve. I think I feel like that's what it is now and not to stress about it if it changes in the future.

We also thought about key people in our learning journey. What was the core value of that teacher and how did they show it in the classroom? You can SEE characteristics but you would only 100% know a person's value if they have spoken to you about it.

For the assignment we have to think of 2 people who have impacted our learning journey. I was thinking about maybe Ms Major, or Mother John Bosco, Tony Young, maybe even Papa Smurf! I also thought about Reegan and how that is NOT what I want to be.
